Our philosophy
The Erlangen Medical Center is an association of doctors from different disciplines. This enables us not only to treat patients, but to organize their entire treatment path. Thanks to our cooperation partners, we are able to minimize waiting times for our patients and thus keep phases of uncertainty regarding their own state of health as short as possible. We try to save our patients long waiting times for specialist appointments as much as possible. Our treatments take place at the highest medical level in a relaxing atmosphere.
Our founder MU Dr. Falk Stirkat
MU Dr. Falk Stirkat, medical director and founder of the Medical Center Erlangen is known to most people from radio and television. In his “radio consultation hour” on Thursday morning he explained medical phenomena on Radio F or answered viewer questions. The enlightened patient has always been a major concern for the specialist in general medicine. In his weekly podcast "DocPod" he devotes himself to complex medical topics and makes them easy to understand. Since his license to practice medicine in 2010, Stirkat has worked in various medical fields and has thus acquired a broad knowledge, especially in the field of general medicine and aesthetic medicine. Stirkat regularly publishes specialist articles on current topics in his field of activity. With the founding of the MZE in 2022, the physician fulfilled his dream of a medical care center in which the focus is on the patient and his needs.
The MZE as an employer
Become part of the MZE family! The focus of our efforts is the human being. This not only applies to our patients, but also to our employees. The family is the nucleus of our society. It is therefore also the focus of our employee policy. Family-friendly working hours, flextime and part-time models are possible with us without any problems. Fair payment and the possibility of continuous, individual development are a matter of course for us. We train young people on an equal footing, because today's trainees are tomorrow's specialists.
